Starting a new blog is a difficult thing, especially after two of them burned to ashes almost immediately after entering the blogosphere.Hopefully, this time that won't happen. This blog is a product of three great powers in my life: tendency to procrastinate, scribomania and holiday-time decisiveness. In order to ensure its survival and many posts, I even picked an address with my name in it. This time, my friends, it'll be for real...
So, why bother? Well... on my side, because of my intellectual exhibitionism and on my wish to discuss my adventures and opinions with a wider public. There is also my belief that in order to really make sense of your opinions and experiences it is easier to sometimes try to write them down.
So why bother? On your part, I guess because most of your will probably be my acquaintances or friends and you might just want to see what I'm up to or thinking about. For the rest, I'll try to be entertaining and honest when it comes to opinions and experiences, and hopefully, will write sensible reviews of things that come my way. I might even venture as far as writing about academic things and commenting about current affairs. I am very aware that I am no Krugman or Mankiw, but there are your comments to help me become better.
Concerning the language, I guess most of it is going to be in English, just because most of my time is spent at the lovely university of Warwick and there people tend to speak it. However, there will be posts in Serbian, especially during holidays or wiring about something that is Serbia- (i.e. Belgrade-) specific.
And finally, please bear with my spelling as I am a fast but inaccurate writer.
